About Us

After realizing that parents don’t always have that “extra” money, Jessalyn started baking and selling brownies to family and friends to have her own money to buy some of the leisure things mom and dad couldn’t afford. She soon started to put her own personality into her brownies, customizing an array of fun and delicious creations. Seeing as she loves to entertain younger kids, the name CLOWNIE BROWNIES seemed to just fit.

Jessalyn attends Faith Temple cog, Bishop Eddie L. Solomon. She is known for taking care of the smaller children at church and almost everywhere. She has the heart and patience when it comes to dealing with younger kids. She is also an active member of “Girl Guards”, of Salvation Army Ministries. It is the Christian equivalent to the “Girl Scouts”. Jessalyn has a reserved and shy nature, so this program is ideal for her, as it focuses on promoting moral values, social skills and self esteem in pre-teen girls.

This business has given Jessalyn a sense of ownership and pride. What started as a quick way to get a few extra dollars has evolved into a life skills adventure. She understands and appreciates the acts of saving, giving in church, budgeting and other business skills. She will humbly offer to help a family member or friend in need as well .

Jessalyn hopes that other kids will be inspired to do well in school and get out and start earning and appreciating their own money. We’d like to encourage adults (even if not Jessalyn)to use the services of young entrepreneurs in their communities. KIDS ARE WORTH IT!!!
